Speech-Language Evaluations
A formal evaluation of speech and language skills is conducted including assessment of articulation, oral mechanism, expressive and receptive language, social language, language processing, voice and fluency. Standardized measures, informal assessment, medical and developmental history reports, and parent report are used to assess skills. Results are analyzed and used to determine each child's individual needs and areas to emphasize.
Individual Speech and Language Therapy
Therapy is provided one on one with your child to develop his or her individual speech and language skills. Each session is normally 50 minutes.
Group Speech and Language Therapy
Made up of a group of kids of similar ages interacting under the direction of a Speech-Language Pathologist. The groups are designed to develop and strengthen individual skills, while working with others who have similar speech and language goals in a group setting. Each session is normally 50 minutes.
